Las Palmas Carnival
The Carnival of Las Palmas (also Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) is one of the most famous Carnivals in Spain. The event is held each February and hosted by Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Events include the Queen Gala and Draq Queen Gala. The main parade, or "Cabalgata", is viewed by 200,000 people every year along its six kilometer route across the city.
Carnaval is celebrated in one way or another throughout the last five centuries of Las Palmas.
