The Edinburgh International Festival is part of the most important summer events in Scotland and the whole United Kingdom.
World-class festivals founded after the Second World War invite artists and spectators, and throughout the year this has become a cultural and social event of this great Scottish capital.
You can visit the King's Theater, the Hub, the Usher Hall, the Queen Hall or you can make a choice from most of Edinburgh College of Art.
The Hebrides Ensemble, which will take place in the Hall of the Festival Queen, begins with a big opening ceremony, followed by a day later.
Event ends with one of the last days of August, with gorgeous shutdown - Virgin Fireworks Concert - said Debussy will perform Rides of Ecossaise or Valkyries Wagner.
Indeed, there is an aim to make a festival for everyone, with disabled people, deaf and hearing opportunities, and visually impaired people.
Since the city is the capital of the country, there are really rich offerings for cultural events in summer, especially in August.
